During dinner, guests were treated to background music by Neil Sealy & Co. Neil is a long-time top Ottawa-Barbadian jazz bassist. The quartet featured two previous EBMT award recipients – Omar Gittens on drums and Joe Callender on woodwinds, and was rounded out by Ottawa jazz pianist Ginny Simonds. In a departure from the jazz theme, EBMT Chairman Victor Gooding made a cameo appearance on guitar for two Barbadian songs.
